Wet Chemical Fire Suppression System The wet chemical fire suppression system comprises Cylinder, Control Module, Mechanical Gas Shutoff Valve, Manual Pull Station, Fusible Link, and Nozzles. The nozzles are installed in the kitchen hood exhaust to suppress the fire. Nozzles of the system will discharge chemicals. Wet chemical quickly mitigates the fire and removes smoke by covering flames and cutting out oxygen. This system is available in Both Automatic and Manual activation system. When the liquid spray hits a burning surface, it quickly reacts with the fats and oils and produces foam that cools the surface also prevents the re-igniting of a fire. The Wet Chemical Systems must comply with the NFPA 17a and NFPA 96. Scope of Wet Chemical Application The Wet Chemical system is used in Domestic or Commercial Kitchen’s Hoods. Wet chemical systems can also be used to protect institutional kitchen hoods, Plenums, ductwork, and filters of cooking appliances, Grease removal devices, Odor control devices, Energy recovery devices installed in the cooking appliance exhaust systems. This system creates a little collateral damage; there is no cleanup issue and eliminates the fuel and electrical source of fire instantly.
